Spiral Baby Blanket

This is the yarn I ordered from Danielle at No No Kitty Yarns. That is a link to her blog, where you can find a link to her store.

The pattern for the blanket can be found here.

You can see some completed spirals at the Gallery hosted by Larissa at Stitch Marker.

The spiral blanket is really pretty and it will be great in your new yarn. I'm working on a spiral shawl right now, it's worked back and forth on only 7 lace panels instead of on 8 like yours. I really like spirals, soI may be doing this one next.

That's a lovely pattern for the yarn. I wish that that photo had been taken in better light. :( I can't wait until you see all the yarns in person! The lace was so much fun to work with.

Cheers,
Danielle

i made the fish pattern years ago, using pastels for an afghan. What is missing from the ones i see on the site is the eye, a bobble placed past the gill, on the die where the fish "looks" on the afghan. Make a bobble with knitting as many stitches as you wish the bobble to be deep in ione stitch on the knit side, PSSO all the extra stitches, then P across the back as you would the rest of the stitches.

Correction for my last post: It should read "side" where the fish "looks" Where the knit stitch becomes a bobble, it should read,"one stitch" as the place for the bobble.Questions can be posted here.

Granny Ro - Thanks for the bobbly for the eye idea. I have a copy of the original pattern now, but I like this simple look since its going to a baby. I may do one fish with the whole smile bit out of the group!

Nice to have you visit!
