Blankie Ideas

Alerievay and I are designing blankets with the trees from this sweater as the center panel. Mine will be a baby blanket for a boy, her is (I believe) a wedding gift. I've decided on this edging - and I've even swatched how to do it in the round (square)!

Good Mitered Corner!

The final result will not be in pink - just grabbed what was on top of the pile for the swatch!

I really like it, looks difficult though. I just surfed onto your site via Crazy AUnt Purl and I noticed that you are from BA. I graduated from BAHS 1994 and plan on moving back to the Tulsa area in the summer. We are in Nebraska right now. I'll have to pick your brain for LYS in the area.

Looks awesome! (very nice corners) Making every square with the leaves may make it a bit busy... maybe you should disperse the leaves randomly throughout the blankie? (I know you didn't ask for advice)

I just found you by looking for your pattern for fish afghan. Must tell you, I have a friend in Broken Arrow! Never thought I would find another person from there. Your work is lovely.
